Easy Order Scheduling for Manufacturing

The Timeline view in Off the Shelf is a great way to keep everyone on the manufacturing production team working toward the same priorities. Sales Order shipments are shown for the upcoming four weeks in day-by-day lanes. Over due items are highlighted in the top left gutter. Shipments due beyond four weeks are shown in the bottom left gutter. Everyone has visibility about what items and orders need to ship when.

But… things change. Manufacturing is dynamic. Sometimes delays push ship dates further out. Sometimes work is finished ahead of schedule. The key is to stay flexible and communicate the change. To move a ship date:

Step 1: drag and drop the Sales Order to the new day

Step 2: there is no step 2 :)
